STAR Testing

On your testing day, you will pick up your passwords and cards with login info from Christina's office in the morning and return them at the end of the day.

For the math session - they will need to bring a pencil and paper.

Please keep in mind that the hallways should remain quiet around the library and computer lab for the duration of testing.

Have students bring a book to read when they finish. They must remain quiet - remember the video about comparing the scores. Have them stay in their seats and look at a book.

Students who receive accommodations can be sent to the office. We are working on that schedule. It will be sent out ASAP.

Maps/Safety Info

If your route has changed from the posted map in your room, please update the map. If you need a new map, there are copies by the mailboxes. Help yourself.

Updated Safety Documents are being copied and will be in your mailboxes.

Lane is checking on green cardstock for the cover sheet for your clipboards.

Constitution Day

Constitution Day sneaks up every year. It is on September 17. Please be sure to include a lesson about the Constitution on this day.

School Pictures

School Picture Day will be on Wednesday, September 16.

The first PTO meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 3:30. Please consider joining the PTO. The cost is $5.00. Our PTO provides many opportunities, materials, and activities for our students.

They have some new ideas this year - something different than the typical Walk for Health. Come on the 16th and hear what they have in mind!

Typically the meetings will be on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Early Release Gold Notes

Students with early release gold notes should be sent to the office a few minutes before the dismissal time specified on the gold note. If a parent is picking up a child at 1:00, please send him or her down at 12:55 instead of waiting for a phone call from the office. We have parents who arrive, have to wait, and are upset because they followed the procedure. Thank you for your help!
