From the Office:
Since the last update near the end of July, our building has gone through some major changes. Our GE Community Service Day was beyond amazing. I hope you have seen how wonderful the exterior of the building looks and the interior is shaping up as well. I can't begin to share how moving it was to see more than 150 volunteers, parents, teachers, facilities workers and family pitching in to work on all of the projects we had on our list. Spaces were cleaned and organized, painted, landscaped, and refreshed! What a way to realize the impact of many hands working together!
In addition, construction has ramped up and moving along nicely in the spaces that were damaged by water in March. Although it still looks like we are a long way from being done, there is a ton of progress and lots of fingers crossed about being done by the 1st! Thanks to Mr. Samir and our Buildings and Grounds crew for their help this summer - they have been amazing!
I hope to see you at the Pool Party on August 28th from 6:30-8:30pm. There is a link below to RSVP.
