Blanket/sleeping bag drive for Dorothy Day House
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The 5th graders at Longfellow Elementary are doing a blanket/ sleeping bag drive for the Dorothy Day House. If the Dorothy Day house is full, they don’t want to send people away with nothing. The fifth graders decided to start a blanket/ sleeping bag drive.
It would mean a lot if you send your child to school with new or gently used blanket(s), sleeping bags, or fleece fabric to make a tie blanket, so people can be sent away with something to keep them warm.
We will be doing this drive from now until November 25th. If possible please donate fabric, blankets, or sleeping bags and send it with your child or children to school.
Christmas Light Recycling
The Longfellow PTO collects Christmas lights for recycling. A collection bin is in the hallway by the Southeast doors to collect the lights. Thank you!
No school November 27-29

ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
Please help us with our daily attendance by calling the school if your child is absent or will be leaving early. By calling the school we are able to insure that your child is safe and accounted for each day.
Please call the office ( 446-5051) or email Patty Edlund at edlunpa@fargo.k12.nd.us.
If your child arrives at school after the bell rings at 8:30AM, they will need to stop at the office to get a tardy slip before going to the classroom.
