  • Did you know that this week all students at iMiddle are participating in the first STEAM Engineering challenge? Through advisory classes, students will be engineering a car to participate in the great egg race challenge on Friday. Ask your child about this design challenge! We need volunteers to supervise the challenge. Email Ms. Labas at nlabas@sandi.net if interested. We also need gatorade wheels. Please drop them off at the office if you would like to recycle these. Each team will need their own wheels and a real egg on race day.

Donut be late to school!

Every six weeks our first period classes compete for a free donut party to celebrate no tardies for the entire class. Research suggests that students who are frequently tardy have lower GPAs, lower scores on standardized assessments, and lower graduation rates. Chronic tardiness in elementary and middle school is also linked to failure in high school. Please help us in making sure your child is not late to school. Students must be in their seat by 8:00 AM. We have another 4 classes to serve on Monday- way to go iMiddle students!

Union Tribune Fundraiser

Have you're children told you about the AMAZING news? We have a new fundraiser going on that will only cost you $2.00 and the school will make $10.000! Please review the form that we sent home with them and sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime deal!

School Site Council

School Site Councils (SSC) provide oversight of the academic planning and budgeting process associated with the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) in order to meet the needs of all students. SSCs provide meaningful consultation with the principal to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and revision of the SPSA, including reviewing and analyzing data; consulting with advisory groups; evaluating programs and activities; and allocating the expenditure of funds available to the school through categorical programs.

SSC Meetings will be held the third Monday of every month starting at 4:15 PM in the Library. Please plan on showing up if you want to be involved with the SSC. The next meeting is December 19th at 4:15 in the school Library.
