- Come join us on Wednesday, December 9th for a FREE holiday breakfast, courtesy of of the food service dept. at SDUSD before work on Wednesday. We are piloting a new breakfast cart at school, delicious strawberry parfaits and mini cinnamon buns will be served. Information will be given out to parents as well. Starbucks coffee will also be available in the Library for parents. In addition, we will have our book faire open for parents on Wednesday morning from 7:00 AM-8:30 PM- start your holiday shopping early to benefit iMiddle! You may browse or purchase books- proceeds go to our school Library and will enable us to purchase more titles for our iMiddle scholars. Parent involvement matters! We know it but do we realize we’re talking up to a full point of a student’s GPA? Check this article out for more info!
- Did you know that this week all students at iMiddle are participating in the first STEAM Engineering challenge? Through advisory classes, students will be engineering a car to participate in the great egg race challenge on Friday. Ask your child about this design challenge! We need volunteers to supervise the challenge. Email Ms. Labas at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested. We also need gatorade wheels. Please drop them off at the office if you would like to recycle these. Each team will need their own wheels and a real egg on race day.

School Site Council
School Site Councils (SSC) provide oversight of the academic planning and budgeting process associated with the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) in order to meet the needs of all students. SSCs provide meaningful consultation with the principal to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and revision of the SPSA, including reviewing and analyzing data; consulting with advisory groups; evaluating programs and activities; and allocating the expenditure of funds available to the school through categorical programs.
SSC Meetings will be held the third Monday of every month starting at 4:15 PM in the Library. Please plan on showing up if you want to be involved with the SSC. The next meeting is December 19th at 4:15 in the school Library.
