Alternating Current

It reverses direction a certain number of times per second.



Examples- Your cell phones, wireless phones, flat screen TVs, Hybrid and electric vehicles, flashlight use DC.

Direct Current

DC is defined as the "Unidirectional" floe of current; the current that runs continually in a single direction, like in a battery or a furl cell.




Examples- Your refrigerator, washer and dryer machine, oven, lights use AC.
