Obama vs. Romney?
Which one do you want to control your child's education?
The United States needs a better education system
Barack Obama's view on education
Obama has a long term plan in which education will become more accessible for middle income Americans. He will continue his long term plan if reelected. This means he will make better quality schools, create them in less populated areas, and support public transportation. The 'no child left behind' foundation will make students proficient in math and reading, and better math, science, and reading teachers will be assigned in public schools. If Mitt Romney takes office, the education for middle class students will crumble. Americans have been using a working education system for four years, and Obama's plan gets better in the next four years. All Americans have worked with Obama's plan.
Mitt Romney's view on education
Romney believes if state standards are higher, students will do better in school. He says if he is elected, he will give good teachers rewards with higher pay, and will give low income schools better math and science teachers. Tax for education will be raised so schools will be better. He will make the financial aid system better and easier. He will welcome private sector participation. He will replace bad regulation with innovation and competition. Obama's plan has shown that education will get worse, as it has been for the past four years. Romney has a good plan for education that will save schools across the country.
What is needed now
The United States needs a better system involving education. Students are getting lower scores on state standardized tests, and more teachers are wanted in the fields of math, science, and reading. Public schools are not innovating, but are getting run down. The public schools where low income children as well as high in come children are getting worse. Lastly, education is decreasing in quality over time, there are less teachers, worse teachers, and the learning environment for several schools are becoming unfavorable. Also, unemployment rates are rising because of non graduates over the age of 18.
