CPR
This course is designed for individuals needing Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and foreign body airway obstruction (choking) certification for victims of all ages, including adult, child and infant. The use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED/"shocker") is included. This AHA certification is valid for two years and is available for healthcare provider certification. (Minimum age for certification is 11 years old.)
Participants will need to pick up class materials at Community Education and read them prior to class.

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art using hand and foot techniques. It is a great class for kids and adults. Our classes are taught in a family friendly atmosphere emphasizing positive attitudes. While learning the techniques of Tae Kwon Do, kids will gain focus, self control and self confidence. All rank advancement is through the World Martial Arts Center (WMAC) and nationally recognized. Black Belt ranking is through the Kukkiwon in South Korea. Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing (no shorts please).

Family Amazing Race
Join us for a family friendly Amazing Race. Meet at the Middle School parking lot to receive your first clue. Clues will lead you on a variety of family friendly challenges throughout Litchfield. Be the first family to finish the race and receive a special prize. Children of all ages are encouraged to participate with their families. We'll provide the fun and clues. You provide the family and a vehicle.
(This activity will be rescheduled if it is raining. Rescheduling information will be posted on our Facebook page and broadcasted on KLFD 1410 AM.)

GRASP Summer Enrichment Program Gr. K-8
GRASP workbook program is designed for students completing grades K-8 to maintain their skills over the summer months and become more comfortable in the standardized testing environment. Complete nine lessons in math, reading or both over the summer. Mail answer sheets, each week, to Community Education for correcting and receive scores back in the mail. Doesn't every child love to receive mail? Children successfully completing at least seven lessons are awarded a certificate and those successfully completing all nine lessons receive a medal, which will be distributed in school in September. Sample materials will be on display at the Community Education office.

Introduction to TTouch for Your Dog
Tellington TTouch is a unique, positive, calming method of influencing and changing your dog's unwanted behaviors. The gentle TTouch method can improve their life and yours!
In this introductory session you will learn two basic touches that can help your dog relax and settle, how to use your leash in a unique way to help with leash pulling, techniques for dogs that are shy and fearful, afraid of thunderstorms, get carsick, plus more! You will take away strategies that you can use on your dog as soon as you get home! This class is for dog owners only, you will not need to bring your pet to this activity.

Overnight Trip to Stillwater June 13th-14th
