President's Corner by Cree Sanford
Our 4th and 5th graders had a tough week! I am sure that they were successful in taking the first part of the STAAR test. I hope all of our fabulous 4th and 5th graders have a restful and peaceful weekend.
We are still looking for volunteers to fill the chairman positions for the 2017-2018 school year. I encourage you to consider stepping forward to help lead our activities and programs. These programs directly benefit our children, teachers, and staff here at Copeland. The programs can’t run without leaders! It is a great way to become involved, have fun, and meet other volunteers. Keep in mind that if the job seems like more than you want to take on yourself, pick a friend and sign up to be co-chairs! Share the wealth!! Please email me at cree410@yahoo.com if you are interested in volunteering.
As always, thank you so very much for all you do, and if you have any questions at all regarding the Spring activities, the upcoming Boosterthon BookFit or any volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact me any time.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to all the parents who donated the modeling clay to the art department. The kiddos have really been enjoying it and Mrs. Krengel will be posting their projects on line soon. Without all of the generous donations this would not have been possible.
