SUNY Oneonta Observatory
Public observing nights held every month!
Interested in viewing planets, star clusters, and galaxies?
Come to one of our open observing evenings at the SUNY Oneonta Observatory, located at College Camp just north of campus. See the sky from a dark site, watch for meteors, and view a myriad of celestial objects through the College's 16-inch and 1-meter telescopes. The program is led by SUNY Oneonta astronomer Dr. Jason Smolinski and students in the astronomy program.
