Although it appeared like a big win last week with an increase in funding to libraries in the State Budget, there is still work to be done. At the federal level, Representative Paul Ryan has suggested eliminating funding to the IMLS (Institute of Museum and Library Services). This would have a devastating impact on libraries! CDLC ILL Field Day: It's Not Just ILL Anymore

Wednesday, May 7th, 2014, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library

Join us to:

  • Get the latest news and developments about statewide ILL initiatives and CDLC programs
  • Receive an update about NOVEL databases from the New York State Library Research Library Director
  • Learn about a statewide demand-driven e-book pilot
  • Hear directly from OCLC about the ILL platform migration to WorldShare Interlibrary Loan

Spend the day with your colleagues sharing ideas, learning from each other, and making new connections!

The cost for the program and lunch is $20 for CDLC personal members, $25 for CDLC members (staff at CDLC member libraries) and $30 for non-members.

CDLC has partnered with the New York Library Association (NYLA) to process registrations. If you do not have a NYLA user name and password, on the registration page select "Register" under "New Customers." You can pay by credit card, or select "Bill Later" to pay by check. Please note: registration closes April 30, 2014.
