A Note From Jen and Jane

Please be sure to read the Advocacy Alert. We would strongly encourage everyone to sign the petition. Once you've done that... have a wonderful, relaxing Spring Break filled with many great moments.

Advocacy Alert

Although it appeared like a big win last week with an increase in funding to libraries in the State Budget, there is still work to be done. At the federal level, Representative Paul Ryan has suggested eliminating funding to the IMLS (Institute of Museum and Library Services). This would have a devastating impact on libraries! Please take a moment to read Barbara Stripling's remarks at http://www.ala.org/news/node/10177 then sign the petition at http://wh.gov/lduSR.

A Visit to Algonquin MS

Your library could be next. Please email Jen if you are interested in showing off the great things happening in your library!
