What is Bulimia?
Bulimia is an emotional disorder involving distortion of body image an a obsessive desire to lose weight, in which bouts of extreme overeating are followed by depression and self-induced vomiting, purging, or fasting.
Symptoms
Brain: Depression, fear of gaining weight, anxiety, dizziness, embarrassment, low self-esteem.
Of
Cheeks: Swelling, soreness
Mouth: Cavities, tooth enamel erosion, gum disease, teeth sensitive to hot and cold foods
Throat & Esophagus: Sore, irritated, can tear and rupture blood in vomit
Bulimia
Muscles: Fatigue
Stomach: Ulcers, pain, can rupture, delayed emptying
Skin: Abrasion of knuckles, dry skin
Inherited:
Bulimia is not just a disorder you bring upon yourself or just start doing, bulimia can all so be an inherited predisposition, particularly in cases where addiction and substance abuse, mood disorder, and/or eating disorder are present with ones genetic history.
Your Reason:
If not inherited Bulimia can be caused by the victim. Things such as poor self-esteem and lack of acceptance of your shape and size. Then there is social media creating I "big deal" on being thin. Family and friends comments on your body that they probably mean jokingly, but you take it to heart.
