Principal's Message
Kia ora koutou katoa,
It has been a much anticipated and exciting week for many children in Te Wao Nui O Tāne who have enjoyed a very successful camp at Forest Lakes. I would like to thank Ms. Katon and all staff involved for their hard work and dedication to ensure our children enjoyed a memorable time at camp. A huge thank you also to all of West End Whānau who have supported our children to have this experience including our amazing WES PTA, parents/caregivers ensuring children had all the gear needed, and those parents/caregivers who were able to join us at camp itself. The children had a wonderful time and I’m sure they will sleep well this evening.
Back at school, there have been lots of exciting things happening this week. The children continue to hone their skills in preparation for athletics sports day later this term. Swimming lessons continue with enthusiasm this week. This is a vital learning opportunity we are proud to offer our children especially this time of year before summer.
We are getting very close to being able to return to our newly refurbished Administration Block with the final touches being completed over the next week or so. We are looking forward to welcoming parents back into this space. Watch this space.
Have a lovely weekend.
Ngā manaakitanga,
Matt
