February is Healthy Relationships Month
Students: One great way to build positive relationships and connections is by joining a club, sport, or activity. You can meet new people, work towards a common goal, and help and learn from others. Here is information on clubs and activities and here is information on sports available at Fremd.
Parents: We hope this resource from Love is Respect and this video about healthy relationships will help spark important discussions at home about how to develop and handle relationships in student's lives.
Career Expo Online! Thursday, February 10th, 6-8pm
Harper Promise
Below are some details and reminders for all students who are a part of the Harper Promise Program. Freshmen, your journey with Harper Promise begins now! As discussed in VAMP, your parents registered you for Harper Promise during registration as long as you were a student with us before December 15th.
- Harper’s Promise Scholarship, the most up-to-date and accurate information is posted on the Harper’s Promise Scholarship website. HERE is the link to the Harper’s Promise Scholarship page.
Here are some other helpful ways to check your Harper Promise progress:
Log into the Student Readiness Plan (SRP) and click on College and Career Exploration to see your progress on the Harper Promise components. This tab includes your absences and community service hour totals.
Your login information is your infinite campus login. If you are having issues accessing your SRP, please reset your Infinite Campus password and try again. If access continues to be an issue, you can contact the FHS Technology Help Desk in the Media Center or email helpdesk@d211.org.
Community service hours: If you have a question regarding how to submit your volunteer hours to the SRP, click here.
GPA information: If you need to know your GPA, click on the Academic tab in the SRP.
Counselor Appointments
Please remember that we also have an On-Call Counselor, Ms. Koehler, who can see students for more immediate needs. Her office is right in the middle of Student Services or feel free to stop at the Student Services desk to connect with her.
