Looking back at 2019...
Continuing cooperation between ISLE and “Eating City"
Since the start of 2016, ISLE has been working closely with the Eating City International Platform on various actions
Eating City is a platform which promotes social dialogue for more Sustainable Public Food Supply Chains.
Ag-Lab Erasmus + project - final year
ISLE is a full partner in a European Erasmus + projects Capacity Building (KA2) The 3-year project, entitled "Ag-Lab - Improving skills in laboratory practice for agro-food specialists in Eastern Europe" is coordinated by the University of Ljubljana (UL), Slovenia and involving HEI's from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Poland, Italy & France.
As the Dissemination Work Package leader, ISLE has been collaborating closely with Eummena on the project (https://eummena.org/) They are a certified Moodle partner and providers of the Ag-Lab e-learning platform http://ag-lab.isle.eummena.org/
MOU between ISLE and Qatar University
Horizon 2020 project entitled “BEAN – Bioeconomy Education and Awareness Network”
Submission of stage 2 Horizon 2020 project entitled “BEAN – Bioeconomy Education and Awareness Network” in which ISLE is Work Package leader for Dissemination and Communication. Results Feb 2020.
Upcoming events
ISLE is very pleased and honoured to endorse the 6th ISEKI_Food Conference, (https://iseki-food2020.isekiconferences.com/en/) organised by the ISEKI_Food Association, in collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology, which will take place in Nicosia (Cyprus) 8-10 July 2020.
The theme is "SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN FOOD SYSTEMS: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FUTURE"
