Baby Boy Edition - Week of 31 January 2016

Puppy Dog Tails + Snails –yields– Baby Boy Knutson

Its going to be a baby boy! Master Marshall Garrett Knutson is scheduled to make his debut in June. WHOOP!

Seems we have a production history of males in the department as of late. From first born to grand babies, gentlemen are out numbering the ladies. Something in the water?

Congratulations Parker and Chelsea! We are eager to meet Master Marshall!

Benchmark Testing & 6th Grade Boot Camp

Be sure to keep up-to-date with the latest information through our live testing plan link! Click here to view the document.

On Monday, ALL teachers need to inform students of their testing room, and have students write the room number in their planner. As per Sheri-

  • EVERY STUDENT will be told to write their testing room down in their PLANNER on MONDAY
  • 6th & 8th Grade - TELL every student in your 1st period, AND HAVE THEM WRITE IT IN THEIR PLANNER
  • 7th Grade - TELL every student in your 2nd period, AND HAVE THEM WRITE IT IN THEIR PLANNER
  • Periods 2 through 7, have students pull out their planner and ensure they have their testing room written down.
  • If you find a student did not write it down, please look up the student on the testing roster and have them WRITE IT IN THEIR PLANNER

Ensure your room is test ready before leaving Monday. Do you have a clock? Student names on the desks? Testing folders if students are in close proximity to each other? Please consult the testing plan if you have any questions.

Blue Observation Forms due by 19 February 2016. Visit with your IC to discuss class learning walks for observing colleagues.

New Horizontal Date for 8th Grade

In order to have viable data to plan for our STAAR ReSTART, we will move our Horizontal Team Meeting to 18 April 2016. Please make note in your calendar. A reminder email to register will be sent one week prior to the event.
