A Note From the Principal
It is with a full heart that I say goodbye to our amazing Bobcat community. It has been an honor to serve BCE for the past two years. BCE will always have a special place in my heart. I am so thankful for the relationships I have built and the memories I will always carry with me.
I am blessed to have been offered a principal job at New Caney Elementary in New Caney ISD. Things continue to fall in to place, and I am very grateful! The experiences I have had at BCE will help me transition into my new adventure.
Without a doubt, Ms. Kellner will do an amazing job taking the reins. She is caring, enthusiastic and extremely passionate about making sure BCE is the best school it can be!! The opportunity to work with her over the past year, leaves me with gratitude and excitement about the amazing things she will bring to BCE.
I am so thankful for your support and kind words. This is an amazing community, and I am blessed to have been a part of it. Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Andjelic

A Note From the Nurse
Hello Wonderful Bobcat Families,
We have had such a wonderful year here at BCE, I truly love my job and your children. I have just a few requests to help wrap up the end of the year.
If your child has had anything occur over the last school year (concussion, surgery, new allergy, new medication added/removed) that you would like to have added to the medical record, if we have not already been in contact, please send me an email with your student’s name and the information you wish to change and I will update it so we are current to start the 2019-2020 school year.
If you have medication in the health office, please pick it up on or before noon Thursday, May 30th. Per Texas Law medications may not be stored at the school over the summer. All medications left after noon on May 30th will be destroyed. *Please note inhalers and epi-pens should stay until the last day of school.
If your child has asthma, seizures, or a life threatening allergy, please use the summer to review your child’s action plan with their doctor and have an updated copy for the health office when the new school year starts. Please check expiration dates on all medication and refill expired prescriptions so you are not rushing around when school starts back. Summer is also a good time to assure immunizations and affidavits are up to date.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
April Hicks, RN

BrightBytes Technology Survey
BrightBytes provides a survey that allows the district and campus to gauge how much technology is being used in the classroom, the quality of use, and perceptions of parents, teacher and students in regards to the use of technology. Please complete the survey by May 30th. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete on any device with internet access. Thank you for taking the time. We value your feedback!
