Indigenous means originating in a country. The first people. The Aboriginal people and Torres strait islanders are indigenous to Australia. Roughly, Aboriginals lived on Australia for about 40 000 years but, Some experts say they've been in Australia more than 60 000 years before.
The Aboriginal people and Torres Strait islanders lived in the whole of Australia and lived between Australia and Papua New Guinea.
