Spring has Sprung!
Happy May!
We are surrounded by reminders that spring is upon us. The shift in weather brings us more opportunities to be outside for class activities and especially for Physical Education classes. Please make sure to dress appropriately as outside activities have shifted to the norm for PE at this time.
In addition to the weather, the grass and trees are starting to green. It definitely is beginning to look and feel like spring. At school we have countless geese and now even some new goslings wandering around. A few have even tried to take up residence on a few vehicles parked at school.
As we round into our last 5 weeks of school, we are heading into the second half of quarter 4. We are looking closely at our seniors and their progress towards graduation. In addition, we are looking closely at students that may need or should be adding some summer school sessions. Please be on the look out for information regarding Summer School. Megan, our counselor, will be meeting with students regarding Summer School and options that are available.
MCA testing begins on Tuesday May 4, 2021. Students MUST have their Chromebooks on site during testing. All of the MCA testing will be completed using student devices so it is imperative that our students have them on site.
Students may begin leaving their Chromebook at school to be used during testing and during classes. We are struggling getting Chromebooks back and forth. We do have charging carts at the ALC that we can have students leave their Chromebooks in at school. Students may take their Chromebook home if needed, but do NEED to bring it back everyday.
