ELM MIDDLE SCHOOL’S WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
March 3, 2023
Principal's Message
Greetings Elm Families,
We hope everyone had a wonderful week! Time has been flying; we are entering the last week of Trimester two! The trimester will end on March 9th and our new one will begin on March 10th. We only twelve more weeks of school for the year!
We will be having our last Cougar Connections of the Trimester on March 6th. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get work turned in and check in with their teachers as another additional support offered to our students at Elm. Students are invited to this session of Cougar Connections in order to complete or retake summative assessments in order to ensure a strong finish to the trimester.
As a reminder, any 6th or 7th grade student that has 1's for all three trimesters in Math or ELA will be recommended for summer school. Any 8th grade students with two trimester F's in ELA or math will also be recommended for summer school and furthermore not be eligible to walk in graduation.
Please take a few minutes to read through this week’s Cougar Courier. As always, should you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. Have a nice weekend. #TeamElmStrong
Most Sincerely,
Ms. Ashley Groeneveld
