Digital Breakouts
If you're a fan of Breakout EDU, check out Digital Breakouts! They allow individuals and small groups of students to search for clues on a webpage. Clues may be hidden in the text on the page or in embedded videos, images, and links. Some clues may lead to puzzles that students need to solve to determine the combinations to the digital locks. Like Breakout EDU, students have 45 minutes to solve the puzzles and open the digital locks.
Here are some digital breakouts about the 50 states! This link contains digital breakouts about the seasons and various holidays.

Halloween Resources
Click here for Halloween-themed resources for all grade levels. My favorite is Tynker's Coding with Monsters page! You can complete scavenger hunt puzzles with the ghouls of Monster High, compose a music video, or direct a trick-or-treat scene!
Gamify Google Searches
Each day, Google asks a series of questions and challenges users to find the answers, using their Google search skills. Students can earn points for correct answers. If they're having trouble, Google can provide a hint or even the first letter of the answer. Check out A Google-a-Day for a fun whole-class activity or a bellringer that can be completed individually.
Second Step Bullying Prevention Videos
The Bullying Prevention videos have been uploaded. Click this link to access them. The process for downloading and viewing is the same as for the regular Second Step videos. If you need assistance, please contact Pat or me.
