Mustang Bulletin
October 4, 2021
The end of the first quarter of school is two weeks away! We have so much to celebrate this first quarter! We started our new social-emotional learning curriculum, All Things EQ. Please check it out on our website. We started our first-ever Mustang Store where students can redeem the tickets they earn by following our four school-wide expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Kind. Thank you to all of the families that have supported this endeavor by purchasing items from our Amazon wish list (the link is below). We also end our week on Friday with a playground dance party to celebrate all of the hard work our students and teachers are doing! We have so much fun with this and we know it is bringing a smile to everyone's faces!
We want to send a special thank you to our PTSA for supporting our campus with new playground equipment that should be arriving very soon. We also had a wonderful Aloha Bingo night that was free for everyone. Our annual fall fundraiser event is coming up this month and we are excited to partner again with Boosterthon! We hope to exceed our goal and raise money to support our Campus Beautification projects!
The quarter officially ends on October 8, so please make sure to carefully read the newsletter that your teachers send out for final due dates for all current assignments and missing work that you may have.
We welcomed our new crossing guard, Ms. Charlotte Moore. We are so very grateful to have her. We are still looking for more crossing guards to assist with before and after school at the crosswalks. If you are a stay-at-home parent or grandparent we would love to have you help with this very important role on our campus. Please call our office at 623-376-5000 if you are interested!
Have a great week ahead,
Mrs. Schubert
Principal
