Halloween Guide 2018
October is halfway through and the ghosts and ghouls are preparing for Halloween Night!
Last week, a Halloween Guideline was emailed with details for our schedule of events on October 31st.
Parade:
Butler is making preparations to celebrate Halloween with a Parade Celebration held on Wednesday, October 31st beginning at 9:45 AM - outdoors (weather permitting). Please dress appropriately for all weather conditions. If weather becomes a factor, a morning email announcement will send an update.
Parties:
As per PA State CHILD ABUSE Guidelines, ALL SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS MUST HAVE THEIR VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES ON FILE WITH CB HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT. Class Party Food drop-off will take place through the Main Office on the 31st. If you have refrigerated items, please bring closer to your child's scheduled party (we do not have refrigeration as an option). Secondly, only parent Halloween party volunteers (with clearances) will gain access to classrooms during the parties. More information will be shared by your classroom's Parent Homeroom Coordinator about class needs for the 31st.

HALLOWEEN CANDY COLLECTION FOR THE TROOPS
It’s almost Halloween! Would you like to help us deliver a little "taste of home" to our troops who are heroically serving overseas? You can donate your excess Halloween candy and help make our brave troops smile!
L&M Orthodontics will be collecting candy and partnering with C.B. East High School Students, through Operation Fill-A-Boot, in sending "Halloween Thank You" packages to our troops to lift their spirits. We are including the Butler Community in this charitable endeavor! As a thank you for your participation, L&M Orthodontics will make a charitable donation to Butler Elementary School.
Please send your wrapped, non-powdery candy to your child’s classroom no later than Monday, November 5th. Thanks for helping us to pay it forward!
