Rejection of Treaty of Versailles
The treaty of Versailles was a formal peace treaty between the World War I Allies and Germany. Was a met in Paris in 1919 to make the treaty. On March 19, 1920, the United States Senate rejected for the second time the Treaty of Versailles, by a vote of 49-35, falling seven votes short of a two-thirds majority needed for approval.
the Treaty of Versailles was a good thing but at the same time it wasnt once the U.S did not participate of the Leage of Nation.
This Selective Service Act required that men between the ages of 21 and 35 register with local draft boards. Later, when the U.S. entered WW2, all men that was between the ages 18 to 45 were made subject to military service, and all men aged 18 to 65 were required to register.

The Zimmermann Telegram was a coded telegram that the Foreign Minister of the German Empire, Arthur Zimmermann, on January 16, 1917, sent to the German ambassador in Mexico, Heinrich von Eckardt, at the high point of World War II.
The telegram instructing the ambassador to approach the Mexican government with a proposal to form a military alliance against the United States. The proposal promised land to Mexico from the United States if the country accepted the agreement. On May 7, 1915, a German U-boat operating off the coast of Ireland fired a torpedo into Lusitania, causing the massive ocean liner to list precariously. Section 1. After one year from the ratification of this article the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States and all the territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for beverage purposes is hereby prohibited.
Section 2. The Congress and the several States shall have concurrent power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.
