Change in leadership
After an intriguing 24 hours of voting and countless publicity attempts, coalition leader Tony Abbott has stepped forward in the responsibility of leading Australia. But will he be reliable.
In youth, Tony Abbott was a scholarly student who was accepted by the university of Oxford for his intelligence. Later after graduating from university he became committed to many jobs such as working in a concrete plant and being a journalist.
Now after 20 years of politics and 4 years as coaliiton leader, Tony Abbott has become the prime minister of Australia.
However despite over 50% of Australia electing Tony Abbott, many disagree with his policies such as his anti-gay marriage and broadband choices and there has been a large debate about how long he'll last.
But for the time being Tony Abbott is the prime minister and hopefully he'll be a promising one.
