Get your creative genius on—the K12 National Art Competition is here! 

Join K–12 students across the country and show off your artistic talents. You choose the medium, and we'll choose the winners based on creativity, originality, quality, execution, and overall impression.

Tell your friends, too—any eligible student can enter whether or not they are enrolled at a K12-powered school. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each grade band (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–12), with prizes ranging from Microsoft Surface tablets, virtual art lessons, and trips to The Savannah College of Art and Design for a series of workshops, and more.

Submit your original piece of art by Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

K12 National Spelling Bee

By inspiring the exploration of words, the K12 National Spelling Bee illuminates pathways to lifelong curiosity, celebrates academic achievement, and enriches communities.

Show off your skills in an epic word game! Eligible 3rd–12th grade students can compete in the K12 National Spelling Bee for a chance to win great prizes. 1st place National winners will receive $2,500 Amazon e-gift cards and Microsoft Surface tablets! Register by January 13.

Stride Serves: Random Acts of Kindness

Let’s spread some cheer this month with random acts of kindness. These small actions and efforts can have an enormous impact on their recipients. Check out some of the ideas below to demonstrate kindness within your community. It all begins with you!

How You Can Get Involved:

  • Design colorful bookmarks and place them in a library
  • Paint small rocks with cheerful colors and distribute them for others to find
  • Pick up a neighbor’s newspaper and bring it to his/her door
  • Compliment someone
  • Find more ideas HERE!
  • What other ideas can you think of to share a random act of kindness?

Have an idea for a Facebook Live interview?

Joining a Facebook Live session is a great way to bring awareness to the work we are doing at Stride! There are opportunities to be a guest on our K12 Corporate (M, W, F) and Stride Career Prep (T, Thurs) Facebook pages. This invitation is open to Stride employees, school staff, students and families, and industry partners.

If you would like to be a guest, please plan to be available for about 30 minutes. The live session will stream to Facebook via Zoom, so you will receive an Outlook invitation to attend.
