Last Week in the Lab
Last week in the lab was all about Halloween! Lots of Jack-o-Lantern & other Halloween drawings along with Halloween games, too! Check out the Jack-o-Lanterns from Kindergarten through 2nd Grade on the Computer Lab blog! It was also the end of the quarter which meant finishing up & turning in any last minute work especially for Middle School. Have you checked out 5th-8th Grades' Google Sites? They're linked from the Computer Lab blog and will keep you up to date with what's happening in those grades.
Coming Up!
Grades 3 through 8 are busy with keyboarding lessons and 2nd Grade will be starting some soon, too. 1st Grade is adding to their Rainbow Alphabets most weeks to help them learn where the keys are on the keyboard.
We'll be doing some Fall and Thanksgiving projects this month and December is quickly approaching. That means it's time for the HOUR OF CODE! This was so much fun last year and we're looking forward to even more fun this year.
We Need YOUR Help!
Speaking of the Hour of Code, we are looking for iPads to use with Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade. If you have one that you can loan for use in those classes, please contact Mrs. Sedgwick at vsedgwick@stmartinsschool.org for information on the free apps that we will need installed and when we’ll need the iPad! Thanks!
