In these past few weeks of school, I have been playing my violin at recess for the enjoyment of the students. Students have been singing, dancing, and playing percussion along with me, and we've all had a blast sharing our love of music! I have also been rehearsing with 6th-grade musicians for a special musical performance during the promotion. We look forward to performing for the 6th-grade families!
I look forward to seeing students again in the fall, and I encourage all 4th-8th grade students to consider joining a music class next year! I am looking forward to continuing the TK-2nd general music classes as well as 3rd-grade recorders in the fall. We are also excited to introduce some new music learning opportunities in the fall. Stay tuned in the fall! Have a wonderful summer, and keep making music!
