Important Information for Parents
Dear Parents,
New Albany-Plain Local Schools uses a mobile device management (MDM) system called ZuluDesk to manage the iPads deployed to both students and staff. This MDM has a feature that allows parents to manage aspects of the iPad’s use while not in use at school. The website is in the process of being rebranded, so you may see it called “jamf | School."
We have created a parent account in ZuluDesk for all 5th - 9th grade parents. If you are receiving this message, you have a ZuluDesk (jamf | School) parent account that is ready to be used. Your username is the email address used to receive this message, and your temporary password is: changeme. You should change your password the first time you login.
ZuluDesk Parent is only usable between the hours of 4:00 PM and 7:00 AM on weekdays, and all day on weekends. If you try to use it between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays, you will see the message shown below.
You can use the following link to log in to ZuluDesk Parent. This website doesn’t need to be accessed using your student’s iPad. You can click on the link below to download instructions for using ZuluDesk Parent.
