- Students must return their current charging cord and laptop and complete a device inspection before receiving their new device and charging cord.

High School Registration Information:
- If your student is attending one of our two main feeder high schools, Centennial or Mountain View, they received course selection paperwork this week. Those high schools will be here on Tuesday, February 20th to help students enter their choices online.
- Please make sure to review the course selections with your student. Students have access to the course selection book link through their science Teams in the General Channel.
- The course description book will explain what each class has to offer, prerequisites, and the grade level each class is open to. It is also linked here. 2024-2025 High School Course Description
- In addition, all 8th grade parents must also send their current proof of address, such as a utility bill, to the registrar at hess.traci@westada.org. The high schools will require that these items be done before the end of the school year in order to receive their HS schedules for next year.
PowerSchool
- All parents must update PowerSchool information each year.
- Please make sure your information is correct.
National Assessment of Educational Progress
Lewis & Clark Middle School will participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) on Thursday, February 22nd. NAEP is the largest nationally representative and continuing assessment of what students know and can do in various subjects. NAEP is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics, within the U.S. Department of Education. NAEP is different from our state assessments because it is a common measure of achievement across the country. The results are released as The Nation's Report Card, which provides information about student achievement to educators, parents/guardians, policymakers, and the public. A select group of 8th grade students will participate in this by taking the math or reading assessment.
