Thank You, Trustees!
We are so grateful for their service and support especially during this pandemic and the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Together they help make Argyle ISD a special place! During Tuesday's regular Board meeting, the campuses also honored the Trustees with special gifts and signs showing their appreciation.
Hilltop Elementary Moving to Virtual Instruction Jan. 22-29
Hilltop Elementary will transition all students and teachers to virtual instruction effective immediately Friday, Jan. 22 through Friday, Jan. 29 and the campus will be only virtual during this time. This decision is based on the inability to staff due to COVID-19 active cases on campus and to help reduce the potential spread of the virus.
The campus plans to return to in-person learning Monday, Feb 1. Argyle ISD personnel consulted with the district nurse coordinator, campus administration and the Superintendent in making this decision.
The district will conduct additional deep-cleaning with electrostatic sprayers to disinfect all classrooms, offices, cafeteria, library and gymnasium during this time.
Hilltop teachers will be in communication with all students and parents regarding next steps for virtual instruction and the expectations. All Hilltop teachers and staff will be working remotely.
If parents have a child with a positive case or known close contact, it is extremely critical to notify the district to allow our campuses to assess the potential spread.
Please contact Hilltop Elementary Principal Dona Lumsden dlumsden@argyleisd.org and campus nurse Emily Mericle emericle@argyleisd.com if you have a case to report.
If you are interested in receiving meals for your Hilltop student(s) during the campus closure, please complete this form and someone will contact you to discuss the options.
