Dear Sacred Heart Parents:

This past Friday our second graders hosted a historical wax museum. The students researched a famous person, designed an informational board and participated in a living wax museum while dressed in costume. Parents and students visited the museum, depositing plastic tokens to hear the “wax” figures come to life. The students did an excellent job of presenting facts about their historical character.

This week “The Heart” welcomes an 8th grade foreign exchange student from France. Laeticia Chesnot will be joining our 8th grade class through the end of the school year. She came for a shadow day visit last week and our 8th grade class welcomed her with open arms and much excitement. This is a wonderful opportunity for our middle school students and our school as a whole.

This is a reminder that there is no school for students this Friday, March 10th.

In support of their Washington DC trip our 7th Grade Class is selling a special, limited edition, Sacred Heart St. Patrick's Day shirt. Students who purchase this shirt may wear it to school with uniform bottoms on Friday, March 17th in honor of St. Patrick. The link for ordering the shirt can be found below.
