A star players dream is to become famous. Jackie Robinson is that kind of baseball player. Jackie Robinson was the youngest of five brothers. He was born on January 31, 1919, in Cairo,Georgia. He attended at John Muir High School in Pasadena, California where he was an excellent athlete. He played four sports; football,basketball,track and baseball. He was named the region’s most valuable player in baseball in 1938.
He is an important person in the world because he played with white people. He got made fun of and disrespected just because he was African-American and he still made it through.He became the star player and a leader.
He became a famous baseball player and he is still remembered today an example to people. He makes people never give up on their dreams.
Some people think Jackie Robinson was gifted to play major league baseball. He is still a reminder today for everyone to remember.He died in Stanford on October 24,1972 at age 53.
It was a sad scene for everybody who adored Jackie Robinson. He died of heart problems.
