Veteran's Day

Thursday, November 11, 2021

10:00 AM in the Front Circle

Dear Julian Curtiss Community Members:

On Thursday, November 11th, JC students and staff will be honoring veterans with a special recognition ceremony outside of our school at 10:00 am. The school will gather in the circle to honor our guests. Please consider whether you know any veterans who might like to attend.

If so, would you please contact them and, if they'd like to participate, ask them for the following information so that we can personalize the experience for all participants:

1) Name

2) Which branch of service

3) Number of years served

4) Primary responsibilities

5) Something you're most proud of related to your military experience

6) A contact email

Please email this information to our School Secretary by November 4, 2021.

Advanced Learning Program Grade 2 Pullout Enrichment Program

The Advanced Learning Program has started the placement process for the Grade 2 Pullout Enrichment Program, which begins in January of 2022.

Parent input is a valuable component of the placement process. In order to refer your student for evaluation to the enrichment program, for Language Arts or Math we ask that you provide the committee with your insights. To do so, please complete the google form found at Parent Referral Form:

This form must be completed by Wednesday, November 10th.

Due to the nature of the accelerated Grade 2 Placement timeline, we are unable to accommodate late referrals. You will have another opportunity to refer in the spring for grade 3 ALP placement should you not want to at this time.
