Cameron Ranch Falcon Connection
June 6, 2021 #falconstrong
Falcon Families,
Last Day Early Out
Our last day of school is Tuesday, June 8. This is an early release day and students will be dismissed at 10:40am (ILS at 12:10pm).
Summer Message
As this unprecedented and most challenging school year comes to an end, I want to thank our Cameron Ranch Falcon Community for the kindness, grace and understanding you've offered through this school year. Although the weight of the year was heavy and daunting, we found a reserve of Falcon Pride and Falcon Spirit which carried us through our most challenging days. We are eternally grateful for the flexibility, tenacity and creativity that our entire learning community exhibited while navigating this new and different way of accessing education. As a Falcon Family we showed resilience as students and families partnered with us to bring quality learning experiences to our students, which is something we wholeheartedly value at the Ranch.
We hope you take advantage of summer programs and we look forward to seeing you in-person full time in the fall.
Summer updates and resources are listed below. Wraparound team is available to provide supports through the summer (grade transition, food, clothes, housing, counseling, etc.). Contact Kimber Rice Support Parent/Family Support Ambassador (kimber.rice@sanjuan.edu) for support.
With Warmest Regards,
Aliceon Sloss, Principal
We are Hiring Instructional Aides!
Instructional Aides (IA's) provide an invaluable service to our students and community. We are currently advertising several positions at Cameron Ranch, which can be found here: https://www.edjoin.org/Home/DistrictJobPosting/1416491. All IA positions require a high school diploma and passing the proficiency exam. If a position is at a district-designated Title 1 site, such as Cameron Ranch, the proficiency exam can be satisfied by having either two years of college (48 semester units) or an A.A. degree or higher. If you are interested in the position and need to sign up for the proficiency test, please register at www.sanjuan.edu/IAExam. There is no cost to take the exam.
