Christmas Program 2019
Here's an update for this year's program
As you recall . . .
K-5 Christmas Program
6-8 Christmas Play
In the next few weeks, any student in grades 6-8 who are interested in being part of the play will have the opportunity to try out for the play. Mr. Edwards and Mrs. Mason will oversee try-outs and rehearsals, which will be held Tuesday through Thursday mornings from 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. As the day of the play gets closer, they may need after school rehearsals as well.
Also, keep in mind, if your child wants to be involved in the play but is not comfortable with a speaking role, we are looking for a group of students to help out in various other ways such as set design and as stage hands. Specific to set design, Mr. Edwards will be overseeing the construction of the sets in the School Enhancement elective on Mondays and Tuesdays, so even if your student isn't the acting type but still wants to be involved, have them check in with Mr. Edwards regarding set design! They can also check in with Mr. Edwards regarding what it takes to be a stage hand. Remember, there's a lot to a play than just the speaking parts!
Our goal is to include every student in grades 6-8 who wants to be a part of this production regardless of role!
