PRINCIPAL NEWS
Greetings EES Families,
I hope you all enjoy lots of fun, joy and rest with your families over the upcoming break! I am fortunate to get to spend my days with your children while they learn and grow - it is a true gift! Each of our students is unique and incredible and I am glad you will get some extra time to celebrate them!
I would also like to take a moment to thank our wonderful EES staff. We have a hardworking and thoughtful staff that I am so grateful to work with. Our students are able to thrive in this rich learning environment due to the care and effort our staff puts in. They go above and beyond and we are so lucky to have them!
As we begin to get more light each day over break, we will be excited to welcome your children back to school on January 4th! As a reminder, Wednesdays will be remote when we return. Enjoy your time and happy holidays to you all!
My Best,
Ashley

PARKING LOT SAFETY
Dear Families,
Our bus company is reporting many students/families walking in between buses during the afternoon dismissal. With blind spots all around the bus, this is a very dangerous practice for families who walk, bike, or pick up their students.
The EWSD would like to remind families of the 'danger zone' around the bus and ask that you only use designated sidewalks and crosswalks at schools. Thank you!
