A Message from Principal Norris-Buck
Dear Royal Families,
We have arrived at the end of first semester! We thank you for the support you provide your students and our staff during this time. We know this has been a learning semester for all of us. I am astounded when I think about all I personally have learned over the last calendar year and how different life is. As we find ourselves in the holiday season, I hope you have time to rest, relax and enjoy the time with your family. Here's to a happy and healthy 2021!
Third Quarter Schedules: Our counseling team has been working hard to honor the learning format requests for the third quarter. Infinite Campus is now showing 3rd quarter schedules. If your child’s schedule has changed, it is due to the number of students who either went fully remote for virtual learning or wanted to return to school in -person. These changes do not begin until the 3rd quarter, January 5th. This week, our teachers helped students know how to find their new schedule and the links for the Google Meets. You may have a message in your IC messages from them about this change. On January 4th, our staff will reach out again via email to remind your students of the links, their new schedule, and any Google Classroom codes. After January 5th, we will also send out our Cohort Line up map again to help everyone remember where to go for in-person learning on January 12th. Should your child still not know where to go or have general questions, beginning at 10:00 on Tuesday, 1/5, they can access their grade level counselor or admin staff using one of the links below:

Connection and Virtual Calm Room
We know that our students may have questions about their work and need connection with each other during this time. Since our staff won’t be doing their regularly scheduled lunch duties, students can access a variety of staff for this purpose. This information about who, times, days and how will be in their Pathways Google Classroom. One of those resources is our Virtual Calm Room. Our lead counselor, Ms. Muniz, created this. It is good for adults too!
Create Your Own Gingerbread House
Sometimes making a Gingerbread House can be a messy adventure, but with this electronic version, each family member can create their own idea, without a mess for another adventure. You start with the framework and drag and drop the candies for your perfect creation.
