Students must make sure they sign in and out when you come and go from school. Not signing in and out may look like the you are skipping and will be written up. Also, you must be present for 60 minutes to be counted present.

This year's Prom theme is Hollywood! So gentlemen get your suits and ties, Ladies get your formal dresses ready to go before May 21st. Prom will be from 7p.m to 11p.m. Prom tickets are on sale for $35 for a single and $60 for couples. Come purchase them in room 505, Ms. Carden and room 507 Ms. Goynes.
Each senior is requested to turn in their $50 sponsorship for project grad by.
Project Graduation forms are now available in the front office. If you plan on attending the Project Graduation event, you must complete the packet forms and return to the office before May 2nd.
Any graduating senior who has passed any of the Microsoft Office Certification Exams and wants to purchase cords for graduation must see Mrs. D. Johnson in Room 503 during Power Hour “A” one day this week. Without going through the verification and payment process cords will not be available.
Prom Gift Basket Raffle – Tickets are $1.00 and can be purchased in the front office.
Rising seniors or juniors who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and are interested in taking a Summer or Fall class at Coastal Carolina Community College should go by guidance and sign up to see the Coastal Carolina Counselor when she comes May 4th. If you spoke to her last week, you don’t need to sign up again.

Any senior that is a member of the National Math Honor Society, that is interested in a cord for graduation, see Mr. Gabbert as soon as possible. Cost of the cord is $5.00.
Congrats to the girls lacrosse team who won their final game of the season 9-6 over Havelock High School. Erin Bowerman and Leia Cabradillia both made one goal, Ariana Centeno made two goals, and Captain Nina Ebara made 5 goals! Kelsey McMinn had one assist and Erin had 4 assists! The defense lead by Captain Summer Huls played an awesome game and Captain Goalie Brooklynn Huerta had 15 saves! Way to end the season!
There is some scholarship money available to any senior planning to attend college and needing some financial assistance. The Geron Harper Memorial Scholarship Fund, the John Ready Memorial Scholarship Fund , and The Cup help offer financial assistance to those seniors that qualify and are selected. To qualify a senior must have played at least two different sports at Northside and have at least a 3.0 GPA. If you have any questions, see Ms. Barbee, Coach Marshburn, Coach Eason, or Ms. Buchanan.
National Honor Society Seniors remember to turn in your stole order forms and fee to Mrs. Johnson in room 503. All service hours and service projects are due at the next meeting on May 10th. Those running for office should have their speeches prepared.
