Health and Safety Weekly Updates

It appears that the state has been releasing their weekly reports from the previous week on Tuesdays. In an effort to be as accurate as possible with the information provided by the state, please note that we will be providing our Health and Safety Weekly Updates to our community on Tuesdays.

Updated Breakfast and Lunch Information

Please be advised that as per the state National School Breakfast and Lunch, all meals served will be available to all South Brunswick students ages 18 and younger, as well as persons over 18 with disabilities regardless of eligibility status. Please click here for more information.

2nd Annual Suicide Awareness Walk

September is National Suicide Prevention month and we are encouraging students to speak up and learn about all of the wonderful resources out there in the South Brunswick community. In order to spread awareness to students, SBHS and Rutgers School Based Youth Services are hosting the 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention Walk on Sunday, September 27th 2020 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. IN PERSON at SBHS!!! We hope you will all come out to support suicide awareness especially during this difficult time. Please click here for more details about the day and learn how to register for this event.

Upcoming Board Meeting - September 24th

Our next Board of Education Meeting will be on Thursday, September 24th at 7:00 p.m. At this meeting, we will recognize the 2019-2020 Educator and Educational Support Persons of the Year. We hope you will join us at that time in celebrating these honorees.

Real Teal Fun Run 5k!

Sign up for South Brunswick Student Council's VIRTUAL 5K fundraiser to raise money for the Kaleidoscope for Hope Foundation and raise Ovarian Cancer awareness!

Registration Fee is $15 if completed by 9/23, $20 if completed between 9/24-9/28
The virtual run will take place between 9/28-10/10. You can complete your run ANY time between these dates. You can run, jog, or walk. Have fun with it!

All participants can post their times on the google classroom any time from 9/28 to 10/10 (Screenshot run using applehealth, mapmyrun, etc.). There will be prizes for the two fastest


This run is open to ANYONE so you can complete it with family and friends!

There is still time to share your photos!! As our first day of school was different than in the past, we thought it would be great to share Back to School student and staff photos in their work stations with our school community in a "Virtual Back to School Photo Booth". If you would like your photos to be shared on social media (facebook, twitter), please go to the following link to add your photos. Remember to state your schools in the email and send as jpegs.
