Message from the Principal
Dear Hornet Nation,
As we welcome back our regional program students (phase one) this week and prepare for our 9th/12th-grade student's return (phase 2) next week, I want to remind students and parents of the initial return to school survey. The school is making safety plans based on the information that was submitted in the fall on whether you would return to school or remain virtual. Contact the school only if you want to make a change from your original response. Please either call the main office (301) 863-4001 or email your child's assistant principal.
In this week's Hornet Buzz we have all the necessary safety protocols for students to return to school. Take a look and make sure that you are familiar with all the procedures. We also have the senior spotlight, scholarship info, AP Exam registration, and a tribute to Black History Month. Check it all out, have a great week and remember.......
We Are....Great Mills!!!
Sincerely,
Dr. Heibel

Parents of AP Course Students: 2021 AP Exam Payment Deadline Approaching!
During the first marking period, your student worked with their AP Teachers to enroll in their respective AP Classrooms. Due to this year’s unusual circumstances, College Board has granted permission for AP Exams to be ordered for all students who are enrolled in an AP Classroom. Therefore, if your student enrolled, as instructed by their teacher, they currently have an exam ordered for each AP course in which they are registered. Linked here are important deadlines and instructions for registration and payment. Your final order and amount due is based upon the exams your student selects and those they want cancelled from their current order.
Just a reminder from Stinger on how to be successful in the third marking period!
