Coolidge Habitat/ Garden Updates
During out annual “Gardenfest” this week, students planted flowers and vegetables in their raised beds and celebrated the importance of getting outside and taking care of our environment. Ms. Stark will be posting a weekly update on the Coolidge Twitter page and the “Garden Club” Google classroom throughout the Summer, so students can virtually watch their plants grow over the Summer (see the link below).
Garden Club will be taking a break this Summer, however a local boy scout troop will be making some much needed improvements to our habitat as their Eagle Scout project. Garden Club will continue weekly as school resumes in the Fall.
Ms. Stark needs Summer garden volunteers! To keep out habitat beautiful, volunteers are needed throughout the Summer to lightly weed and water once per week. If you are able to help with this, contact email@example.com.
