Together We: Learn, Grow, Lead

Congratulations to all bulldogs who participated in this weekend's CCPS STEAMmania competition! Our 3-5 grade Minute-to-win-it team won 1st place with our K-2 Minute-to-win-it team placing 2nd. Many of our other teams brought home trophies too! We are proud of all of our students and grateful for our teachers who volunteered their time on a Saturday! A special thanks to Mrs. Ballou, our STEAM teacher, for organizing this opportunity for our students and for the many teachers/staff who volunteered at STEAM practices.

Thank you to our Grange Hall community for participating in the PTA Blood drive on January 8.

Thank you to everyone who supported our 5th grade team by joining us for Chick-fil-A night!

Looking forward to another FANTASTIC week at Grange Hall!

Community Meeting

Grange Hall families,

As you may know, the School Board and Board of Supervisors have approved construction plans for a new elementary school that soon will be built in the Magnolia Green subdivision. The yet-to-be named new school is slated to open in Fall 2022. The school division will host a community meeting on Jan. 15 to discuss construction plans. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Winterpock Elementary. The new facility, which will be the school division’s 40th elementary school, is expected to relieve overcrowding at Winterpock Elementary. While no redistricting plans have been presented to the School Board yet, some neighborhoods currently attending Grange Hall Elementary could be impacted by the attendance boundary creation as well. At the Jan. 15 meeting, school division leaders will discuss plans for construction and provide the community with a chance to provide input on the front façade of the school. The prototype design that will be used for construction will be available for review as well. Residents unable to attend the meeting will be able to provide input via mychesterfieldschools.com.
