GO HAWKS!
HSA-HOME COMING!
Dear HSA Families,
We will have our annual homecoming spirit week during the week of Monday, October 11th through Friday, October 15th! As it has been done in previous years, this week is very important to the graduating senior class.
The homecoming theme name is "Cloud Nine", meaning a feeling of well-being or elation. The dance will have elements of neon colors, LED lights, disco balls, and glow-in-the-dark decorations.
There will be different themes for each day, and in order to participate, it will be 3 dollars a day or 10 dollars for a weekly pass.
- Monday will be Heroes VS. Villains
- Tuesday will be Decades
- Wednesday is Pajama day
- Thursday is Twin day,
- Friday will be Spirit Day.
There will be a teacher vs. students sports game after school, Monday. On Friday, at 3:30. Black Student Union is hosting a pep rally that will include a DJ, food trucks, and many other fun activities.
There will be a homecoming carnival from 4:30 pm to 9 pm, and we would love to see you there! It will be one dollar for one ticket.
Finally, homecoming will be on Saturday the 16th from 7 pm to 11 pm and it will be 20 dollars for each ticket, payments also can be made at the front office. Homecoming will only be open to HSA students.
All of the fundraisings we earn throughout this week will be given to the senior class for their graduation and prom.
Thank you,
Project Graduation 2022

JOIN THE PTO AND SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL!
The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Organization is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. But there are many more PTO advantages:
- Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.
- Tap into a Network. PTO functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport, and discussing issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.
- Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTO, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause—your child and all children in the community.
- Speak Up. PTO can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.
- Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Our PTO plays an important role by supporting building improvements through advocacy and plays an important role in fundraising for curriculum-based programs and social/family events.
- Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTO

HS ADVANCEMENT IS STARTING ITS JOURNEY ON BECOMING A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF CHARACTER!
Harmony School of Advancement is on its way to becoming a "Character School," where we work together to make our school stronger in developing core ethical, performance, intellectual, and civic values in our young students with the commitment of helping them to become caring and responsible citizens.
The core values that we want to instill in our young students are Honesty, Empathy, Respect, Obligation, Engagement, and Selflessness- H.E.R.O.E.S. These core values will be the pillars of our 'character culture', helping us grow stronger mentally, socially, and emotionally as we strive to become a distinguished Character School using the 11 Principles Framework.
We invite all stakeholders of our school community to join us and help us promote H.E.R.O.E.S!
Interested in volunteering at our school?
Parent involvement in education is crucial. Studies have shown that, when parents are involved at school, the performance of all children at the school, not just their own students, exhibit improvement.
