Fun Activities for the Classroom
It's Important for Children to Obtain Physical Activity!

More Activities
Stretching
Does it sound boring just putting arms in the air or moving to the left or right? Well, pick some students to lead a couple of groups. Then rotate the students who will be the leader of the groups.
Walks
One technique that has been used is a walk through the school. But do not make it just make it a 'plain' walk. Try making it a little lively, like a parade, where students design a paper hat and wear it while walking it down the hallway.
Extra Recess
Recess time for children has been cut further and further over the decades. Occasionally, consider giving your class an extra 10 minutes of recess.
Finally...
Try to incorporate some learning activities where the children need to go outdoors. For example, take the students outside one day and have them dig or observe something in the sky like birds or airplanes.
