As we enter the Spring season, and the weather warms up, a period of new growth begins. This is the best time to establish a new Growth Mindset, as we embark on our next 212-degree challenge!

“When you understand what you want, or in learning new skills, you need to put in effort by learning from those around you. By being aware of possible limitations, and staying focused on improving those limitations, we welcome solutions. When we are in this ‘headspace’ of positivity, then we are in a growth mindset.”

In this month’s commitment, we will strive to expand our mindset by asking one extra question each day, reflecting on what we did well and how we fell short on something each week…By making a weekly goal to welcome new things, you can journal your accomplishments towards this challenge and share your success:

The MEGALODONS finished as the rank 8th seed and alliance captain at @firstlongisland’s regional #1 along with alliance partners @frc6401 and @lbhs.robotics! We had so much fun competing with all the other teams out there and we’re happy to give our rookies a new experience as well. 🦾

The JDHS Theatre Department is proud to present BOEING BOEING. This 1960’s French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down, and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard’s apartment, at the same time.Tickets are $3 students / $5 adults (CASH ONLY) and can be purchased at the door. Doors open 15 minutes before each performance. See Mr. Hill in A5 with questions.

Donate clean and wearable clothes for a good cause as we celebrate earth day with a Dewey thrift shop!
