CFES Weekly Newsletter

2022 - 2023

Summer Edition

Hello CFES Families,

It is wonderful to be back and preparing for the staff to return next week and our amazing students to return on Tuesday, August 16th! I am so excited to be sending out our first CFES Newsletter for the 2022-2023 school year. If you are new to our CFES Family, this is the main form of school communication and is sent out weekly.

There is always so much to communicate at the beginning of the school year so I promise to keep the communication coming.

It is my pleasure to continue to serve the CFES students, staff and community. I know it is going to be our best year ever as we Illuminate CFES !

  • School Messenger is the communication tool TISD utilizes to communicate campus and district information to parents. You will receive these important messages at the email address or phone number of your choice. Access School Messenger to Set up or update preferences and personalize for your family.

  • Breakfast and Lunch are available to purchase daily for all students. Please take a moment to set up your child's account. Here is the information to Set up Breakfast/Lunch Accounts for students and you can view menus and prices here . An important change this year is that families interested in the free/reduced lunch program must complete the on-line application and qualify for the program. Free/reduced lunches will only be available to families who qualify.

  • If your child is ever going to ride the bus to or from school please complete bus registration using the Home Access Center by August 6th. There will no longer be an ongoing bus registration link on the TISD website. Bus routes will be finalized August 8th in order to prepare routes for the first day of school. Register for Bus Transportation before the deadline of August 6.

  • TISD requires any parent who wishes to volunteer on campus in any capacity to complete the volunteer form yearly. To ensure parents have been approved again this year to volunteer in one of our many campus opportunities, (this includes serving as a chaperone, attending classroom parties and field trips, volunteering, class readers etc.) we encourage you to complete the Volunteer Application now.

  • Here are the lists of School Supplies for students needing to purchase them.
