3/16/20 Notes from Young School
A Note from Ms. Morgan
Dear Young Families,
I hope that you and your families are well. Please take care of yourselves. Classroom teachers have been preparing academic activities and lessons to keep students engaged in learning as well as to provide consistency during the day while students are out of school.
Please do not overwhelm your child or yourself with an overabundance of student work. Balance academic tasks with arts & crafts, exercise, chores, quiet time, electronics free time, and lunch. Breaking your child’s day into multiple periods of 20-60 minutes of academic time with breaks in between is a good way to approach daily learning. We do not want to add any additional stressors to our families.
We wish you and your children good health. We will miss seeing our Young Dolphins. However, we know we will see you soon.
Please do not hesitate to contact me via email with any questions or concerns.
Best Wishes,
Ms. Morgan
