Letter from the Principal
Dear Tualatin Black Bear Families,
I hope this message finds all our families doing as well as possible during a challenging start to 2022. I also hope that the holiday season has provided each of you with some much needed time with your loved ones. We wish everyone safety and health at this time while we are still navigating a pandemic. Please continue to monitor each family member closely each day. Our main goal is still to keep in-person school rolling along this year.
We are in the process of hiring for a few part-time positions. Currently, we have two reading assistant positions, and a health room assistant position available. All three positions are 3 hours and 45 minutes a day. Please contact me through the office if you have any questions, or know someone who may be interested. The job openings can be found on the TTSD website.
News and Updates
January 12, Wednesday, is now a teacher planning day, no school for students
Please contact our office to share vaccination information regarding your child. This will help us know who may be able to stay at school more quickly when there is a positive case of COVID.
Unfortunately, the play structure area on our playground is closed due to flooding as a result of a severe drainage issue. Repair work is being planned for later this year. Stay tuned for updates.
It looks like there will be some sunshine this weekend. We hope everyone gets to enjoy a much needed break from the rain.
Warm Wishes,
Mr. Kingery
Principal
