Make-Up Picture Day

School picture make-up day is tomorrow, Monday, November 14th.

Field Trips Are Back

We are so excited our students are attending field trips again! We realized when our second graders went to the museum, two weeks ago, that they had never been a field trip before! Wrap your head around that for a moment! Our teachers have planned many wonderful learning experiences for our students this year that involve going off campus. While these are wonderful opportunities for our students we know the cost adds up as the year goes on. Please know we have a scholarship fund available and don't hesitate to check that box on the permission slip, as that is the purpose of those funds. No child will ever be denied the opportunity to attend a field trip because they didn't pay the cost of the trip. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Easley Holiday Giving Tree

The Sign-Up or the Giving Tree will be available on Wednesday of this week. I will send it out on Bloomz and via email.

SIT Meeting

Our next SIT meeting is this Wednesday at 5:30 PM in the media center.

From the PTA:

Easley Holiday Giving Tree

As the holiday season approaches, we often take time to reflect on our blessings. However, not all families find themselves in favorable circumstances and there are children and families within our own school community in need. This holiday season the PTA is brining back the "Holiday Giving Tree" to help these students and families.

How can you help? Beginning Wednesday of this week, you will be able to sign-up online through a Sign-Up Genius link for items you would like to purchase for donation. From November 16th to December 9th, you may purchase the items and return them to the school office. Please do not wrap your donations.

If you have needs within your own family or are aware of the needs of another family in our community, please contact me, Principal Hauser and I will be able to discuss the needs and maintain complete confidentiality. You can reach me at Jennifer.Hauser@dpsnc.net or 919-560-3913, x13225.

Thank you for making Easley a great community for our children and families.
