Miss Foos - Kindergarten Teacher

Hi Mealowlark families, my name is Regan Foos and this will be my third year teaching. I have taught kindergarten and second grade. I graduated from K-State in 2019, and will again in May with my master’s. I moved to the Wichita area with my boyfriend, Brayden, in 2020. We have a very playful and energetic dalmatian named Freddy. When I’m not at school, we love going on bike rides and spending time at the dog park together. I am so excited for this year!

Mrs. Fisher - Instructional Aide

Hello! My name is Nikki Fisher and I am one of the new Instructional Aides at Meadowlark Elementary. I have been married to the love of my life for the past twenty years and we have three amazing children. We are from the Seattle area but moved to KS six years ago and cannot imagine ever leaving! I have a Bachelors in Education and taught Middle School before following my dream of becoming an attorney. Though I thoroughly enjoyed practicing law, I chose to "retire" and stay home with my three children when my youngest was a year old. Once they were all in school, I decided to use my teaching degree again and started subbing in their school. Now that I have one in high school, one in middle school and only one in elementary, I decided it was time to get back in the school more permanently to assist the incredible teachers and students. It is such a blessing to work with the students and see their joy for learning. I am so excited to be an All-Star and I am looking forward to having a great 2021-22 school year!

Mrs.Vardy - Instructional Aide

Hi Meadowlark Family! My name is Renee and I am excited to be an Instructional Aide this year. My husband and I have two kids in elementary school at Martin Elementary. Before I had children I was an environmental geologist and I love showing kids how fun and interesting science can be. One of my favorite things to do is go camping with my family. We travel every opportunity possible and love finding new places to hike and mountain bike. I am looking forward to a great year at Meadowlark!

Mrs. Thompson - Instructional Aide

Hello! My name is Amanda Thompson and I am one of the new Instructional Aides at Meadowlark. This is my 6th year being a para/aide. I was formerly in the Maize district.

My husband and I have two children, Grace (14) and Rocco (10). My favorite hobbies are spending time with family and watching soccer games. I am excited to be at Meadowlark and looking forward to a great year!
